Facebook and MySpace

I have become the 130th fan of the Library on Facebook. It is interesting to see so many library fans. I can see the value in connecting with old friends via Facebook. My daughters use it a lot to stay in contact with their friends but I don't know how often I will use it.

I viewed the general Library page and the Teen page on MySpace. I enjoyed Shelfari and the awesome pics on the Teen Camera Club slideshow. I preferred Facebook to Myspace, the layout just seemed easier to read.

Twitter activity

I signed up for Twitter! My first tweet was "Twitter account set up. I'm following NY Times and Al Gore so far. "

I'm also following the library and a few staffers.
